Nursery

Children are very much a part of our worshiping community.  Their presence is valued by the members of our congregation.  We appreciate that small children are a little restless, and we will be understanding when your little one gets fidgety.  We also believe that quality child care is an essential part of ministry.  Our preschool and toddler room is located on the main floor in room 303 and the nursery is the next door, room 305.  The rooms are connected and parents generally enter through door 303 to drop off their children.

Child care is provided in the nursery during 10:30 service.

A Sunday School lesson is also taught in the nursery for ages 0-3 during the Sunday School hour at 9:30.

Just need a few minutes to comfort your baby?  Feel free to come rock or nurse your baby in the nursery (room 305) until you are ready to rejoin worship.  You will still be able to hear the service through our speaker system, so that you will not have to miss the message while you tend to your child's needs.

Below are the smiling faces that are likely to welcome you and your child to the nursery if you visit us on a Sunday morning.  While in our care, your child will be surrounded by caring, loving volunteers who will look out for both his/her physical and spiritual well being.

Your child's safety is of the utmost importance to us.  That is why we strive to have at least two adults in the room at a time.  All of our child care providers have had background checks and participated in child protection policy training.  A copy of our child protection policy is available in the literature racks outside the church office.
